The course
The 2026 56 km Gold Rush Loop of the Cranbrook Gravel Grind, a gravel loop from Idlewild Park in Cranbrook through Gold Creek and the Mayook-Baker forest road.
The 2026 Cranbrook Gravel Grind was raced on Saturday, September 5, starting and finishing at Idlewild Park in Cranbrook, British Columbia. The Gold Rush Loop climbs right away — the main climb, about 289 metres in the first 11 kilometres — then runs on Gold Creek Road and gravel roads to the Mayook-Baker forest service road, at the highest point of the course, 1,337 metres. It then returns along Highway 3 to Idlewild Park. In all, 770 metres of climbing, according to the organizer. This is the exact route plotted here — every turn at its precise intersection.

Why This Ride
The Gold Rush Loop is the course that built the Cranbrook Gravel Grind's name: unique gravel, honest climbs and mountain forests. Here, it's the 56 km loop. Your race, preserved in ink, one line at a time.
Make the Achievement Yours
Add a name, finish time or short dedication to turn the artwork into a personal record of the work behind the medal. Personalization is optional; leave the field blank for the original composition.
How It Is Made
The composition, hierarchy and final linework are directed by a person. A pen plotter then draws the artwork physically, line by line, with ink on paper. Small production variations can occur during physical plotting.
Plotted by a robot. Designed by a person.
