The course

The 2026 145 km course, starting and finishing in Shippagan, through Caraquet, New Bandon and Paquetville.

The start is in Shippagan, New Brunswick, on Saturday, August 22, 2026. The loop follows the coast toward Caraquet along the chemin Saint-Simon, then heads inland through New Bandon, Route 303 and Route 135 — the main climb, about 40 metres between km 70 and km 85, leads to the highest point of the course, at 50 metres. It then returns through Paquetville, the boulevard des Acadiens and Caraquet to Shippagan. This is the exact route plotted here — every turn at its precise intersection.

Why This Ride

The Gran Fondo of the Acadian Peninsula is 145 km close to the sea, between harbours and Acadian villages. Here, it's the big Saturday loop. Your ride, preserved in ink, one line at a time.

Make the Achievement Yours

Add a name, finish time or short dedication to turn the artwork into a personal record of the work behind the medal. Personalization is optional; leave the field blank for the original composition.

How It Is Made

The composition, hierarchy and final linework are directed by a person. A pen plotter then draws the artwork physically, line by line, with ink on paper. Small production variations can occur during physical plotting.

Plotted by a robot. Designed by a person.
