The course

The 120 km course, a loop from Markdale through Chatsworth, Meaford and the Beaver Valley.

The start is in Markdale, in the Grey Highlands, Ontario. The loop reaches the highest point of the course early, at 448 metres, at km 8, then heads north on Grey Road 12, through Chatsworth and the Meaford concession roads. It drops toward The Blue Mountains on Grey Road 13 and the Beaver Valley, before climbing back on Grey Road 7 — the main climb, about 215 metres between km 90 and km 103 — and returning to Markdale. This is the exact route plotted here — every turn at its precise intersection.

Why This Ride

The Grey Highlands Gran Fondo is the high country of Grey County and the drop into the Beaver Valley, before climbing back out. Here, it's the 120 km loop. Your ride, preserved in ink, one line at a time.

Make the Achievement Yours

Add a name, finish time or short dedication to turn the artwork into a personal record of the work behind the medal. Personalization is optional; leave the field blank for the original composition.

How It Is Made

The composition, hierarchy and final linework are directed by a person. A pen plotter then draws the artwork physically, line by line, with ink on paper. Small production variations can occur during physical plotting.

Plotted by a robot. Designed by a person.
