The course

The 120 km gravel course of The Boulder, a loop from the Telemark Nordic Club in West Kelowna on the Okanagan's forest service roads.

The start is at the Telemark Nordic Club in West Kelowna, British Columbia. The loop climbs into the backcountry on the Jack Pine forest service road, then Bear Lake Main and Esperson Main — the main climb, about 740 metres between km 29 and km 47 — to the highest point of the course, at 1,692 metres, at km 59. It returns by Tadpole Main, Horseshoe Main and Bear Lake Main to Telemark. In all, 2,100 metres of climbing, according to the organizer. Why This Ride

The Boulder is the signature challenge of the Okanagan Graveller: forest service roads, climbs that keep going and technical descents in the British Columbia backcountry. Your ride, preserved in ink, one line at a time.

Make the Achievement Yours

Add a name, finish time or short dedication to turn the artwork into a personal record of the work behind the medal. Personalization is optional; leave the field blank for the original composition.

How It Is Made

The composition, hierarchy and final linework are directed by a person. A pen plotter then draws the artwork physically, line by line, with ink on paper. Small production variations can occur during physical plotting.

Plotted by a robot. Designed by a person.
