The course
The 2,500 km ultra course of the Race Across Québec, from Bromont to Terrebonne through the Beauce, the Gaspé Peninsula and the St. Lawrence.
The start is at the Bromont National Cycling Centre. The course crosses the Eastern Townships — the main climb, about 270 metres between km 177 and km 194 — then Chaudière-Appalaches, where it reaches its highest point, at 643 metres, before the first base camp at Lac-Etchemin. It then heads down the Lower St. Lawrence through the Matapédia valley to Carleton-sur-Mer, rides around the Gaspé Peninsula through Percé and Gaspé, comes back through Mont-Joli and Rivière-du-Loup, follows the river to Québec City, then runs through the Mauricie and Lanaudière to the finish in Terrebonne. In all, 26,023 metres of climbing, according to the organizer. This is the exact route plotted here — every turn at its precise intersection.

Why This Ride
The Race Across Québec is Québec's ultimate ultra: vast forests, villages, a lap of the Gaspé Peninsula and the St. Lawrence, semi-self-supported. Here, it's the full 2,500 km crossing. Your race, preserved in ink, one line at a time.
Make the Achievement Yours
Add a name, finish time or short dedication to turn the artwork into a personal record of the work behind the medal. Personalization is optional; leave the field blank for the original composition.
How It Is Made
The composition, hierarchy and final linework are directed by a person. A pen plotter then draws the artwork physically, line by line, with ink on paper. Small production variations can occur during physical plotting.
Plotted by a robot. Designed by a person.
