The course
The IRONMAN Canada-Ottawa course on one sheet: the 3.8 km swim in the Ottawa River, the 180 km bike on closed roads past Parliament Hill, and the flat 42.2 km run downtown — pen-plotted in Québec City.
The swim is one 3.8 km loop in the Ottawa River from Britannia Park, where the first transition (T1) sits. The bike covers 180 km in 2.75 loops on fully closed roads, with mild elevation changes: along the Kichi Zībī Mīkan by the river, past Parliament Hill, the Supreme Court of Canada and Embassy Row, on Colonel By Drive and the Sir-George-Étienne-Cartier Parkway — about 474 metres of climbing, highest point 79 metres. The second transition (T2) is downtown by the Alexandra Bridge. The flat 42.2 km run follows the Queen Elizabeth Driveway and Prince of Wales Drive and finishes at Major's Hill Park, beside the Fairmont Château Laurier, with Parliament as the backdrop — about 158 metres of climbing. This is the exact route plotted here — every turn at its precise intersection.

Why This Triathlon
Ottawa is a full-distance triathlon in the heart of the capital: a river swim, closed roads past Parliament, and a finish at Major's Hill Park. Your 226 km, preserved in ink — drawn by a robot, decided by a person, made in Canada.
Make the Achievement Yours
Add a name, finish time or short dedication to turn the artwork into a personal record of the work behind the medal. Personalization is optional; leave the field blank for the original composition.
How It Is Made
The composition, hierarchy and final linework are directed by a person. A pen plotter then draws the artwork physically, line by line, with ink on paper. Small production variations can occur during physical plotting.
Plotted by a robot. Designed by a person.
