The Avro Vulcan B.2 was Britain's delta-winged answer to the nuclear age — one of three V-bombers built to carry the country's airborne deterrent, its radical shape was designed to reflect radar into an almost invisible signature. Best remembered for Operation Black Buck in 1982, when a single Vulcan flew nearly 3,900 miles from Ascension Island to bomb the runway at Port Stanley during the Falklands War — still one of the longest bombing raids in history. It was retired from RAF service in 1984.

Each piece is physically plotted by the studio's precision robot in Québec City, using Stabilo® Fineliners and Sakura® Gelly Roll inks on 250 gsm (120 lb) stock — stroke by stroke, never printed. A physical tip presses into the paper and lays down real ink. The result is a tactile, hand-plotted finish — never printed.
