The Caterpillar 797B is an off-highway mining truck built by Caterpillar in the United States, produced from 2002 to 2009. It's powered by a Cat 3524B 24-cylinder diesel — quad-turbocharged, HD EUI-injected — rated at 2,647 kW (3,550 hp) gross and 2,513 kW (3,370 hp) net, driving through 59/80R63 tires to a maximum loaded speed of 67.6 km/h (42 mph). It carries a rated payload of 345 t (380 short tons) at a gross operating weight of 623,690 kg (1,375,000 lb), with a 6,813 L (1,800 US gal) fuel tank. It measures 14.54 m (47.7 ft) long, 9.17 m (30.1 ft) wide, and 7.59 m (24.9 ft) tall, empty.

Each piece is physically plotted by the studio's precision robot in Québec City, using Stabilo® Fineliners and Sakura® Gelly Roll inks on 250 gsm (120 lb) stock — stroke by stroke, never printed. A physical tip presses into the paper and lays down real ink. The result is a tactile, hand-plotted finish — never printed.
