A technical plan of the Chengdu J-10, plotted pen to paper, line by line, on 250 g/m² paper, 11 × 17 in. A physical tip presses into the paper and lays down real ink, one pass at a time. On the back, a serial number and date, plotted in UV ink in the same pass as the drawing.
The plan of the J-10 exists as a file, everywhere. What doesn't exist everywhere is a copy someone can point to and say who drew it, where, on what day, and under what serial number.
The Chengdu J-10 is a single-engine, delta-wing multirole fighter developed by the Chengdu Aircraft Corporation for the People's Liberation Army Air Force, first flown on March 23, 1998. Its canard-delta layout — a small foreplane ahead of the main wing — gives it the tight turning performance the design was built around. More than 600 have been built across its variants, and the type has also been exported to Pakistan's air force. This blueprint captures its distinctive silhouette: needle nose, twin ventral fins, and the canards that define its aerodynamics.

Each piece is physically plotted by the studio's precision robot in Québec City, using Stabilo® Fineliners and Sakura® Gelly Roll inks on 250 gsm (120 lb) stock — stroke by stroke, never printed. A physical tip presses into the paper and lays down real ink. The result is a tactile, hand-plotted finish — never printed.
