A technical plan of the de Havilland DH.89 Dragon Rapide, plotted pen to paper, line by line, on 250 g/m² paper, 11 × 17 in. A physical tip presses into the paper and lays down real ink, one pass at a time. On the back, a serial number and date, plotted in UV ink in the same pass as the drawing.
The plan of the Dragon Rapide exists as a file, everywhere. What doesn't exist everywhere is a copy someone can point to and say who drew it, where, on what day, and under what serial number.
The de Havilland DH.89 Dragon Rapide first flew on April 17, 1934, a twin-engine biplane built to carry six to eight passengers on short regional hops. Its lightweight plywood construction made it durable and cheap to operate, and it became one of the most successful British airliners of the 1930s. When war broke out in 1939, the RAF drafted hundreds into service as the Dominie — navigation trainers, radio trainers, and air ambulances. 727 were built in total. This blueprint captures its distinctive swept-back upper wing and twin Gipsy Six engines, the layout that carried it from prewar airline routes to wartime service and back again.

A physical tip presses into the paper and lays down real ink. The result is a tactile, hand-plotted finish — never printed.
