The Komatsu WA500-8 is a large wheel loader built for loading haul trucks in quarries and heavy construction sites, matching a 266 kW Komatsu SAA6D140E-7 diesel with a bucket ranging from 4.5 to 6.3 cubic meters. Its SmartLoader Logic system automatically manages engine torque for each phase of the work cycle, trimming fuel consumption without giving up production. Riding on an articulated four-wheel-drive frame, it's built to move heavy, abrasive material all day without slowing down.

Each piece is physically plotted by the studio's precision robot in Québec City, using Stabilo® Fineliners and Sakura® Gelly Roll inks on 250 gsm (120 lb) stock — stroke by stroke, never printed. A physical tip presses into the paper and lays down real ink. The result is a tactile, hand-plotted finish — never printed.
