The Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-15bis was the fighter that ended the era of straight-wing jets — when it appeared over Korea in 1950, its swept wings and heavy cannons outclassed everything the West had in the air, forcing the United States to rush the North American F-86 Sabre into the fight. More than 13,000 MiG-15s were built in total, including 8,352 of the upgraded 'bis' variant, making it one of the most mass-produced jet fighters ever flown.

Each piece is physically plotted by the studio's precision robot in Québec City, using Stabilo® Fineliners and Sakura® Gelly Roll inks on 250 gsm (120 lb) stock — stroke by stroke, never printed. A physical tip presses into the paper and lays down real ink. The result is a tactile, hand-plotted finish — never printed.
