A technical plan of the Ferrari F40, plotted pen to paper, line by line, on 250 g/m² paper, 11 × 17 in. A physical tip presses into the paper and lays down real ink, one pass at a time. On the back, a serial number and date, plotted in UV ink in the same pass as the drawing.
The plan of the F40 exists as a file, everywhere. What doesn't exist everywhere is a copy someone can point to and say who drew it, where, on what day, and under what serial number.
Ferrari built the F40 in 1987 to celebrate its 40th anniversary and to put, in its own words, the fastest street-legal car in the world in a customer's hands. It was the last car personally approved by Enzo Ferrari before his death. A 2.9-liter twin-turbo V8 made 478 PS through a body of Kevlar and carbon fibre, no radio, no carpet, no door handles beyond a pull cable — every gram removed in the name of speed. It reached 60 mph in 3.8 seconds and was, at launch, the fastest production car Ferrari had ever built. This blueprint captures the fixed rear wing and side strakes that define its silhouette, unchanged across its production run from 1987 to 1992.

Each piece is physically plotted by the studio's precision robot in Québec City, using Stabilo® Fineliners and Sakura® Gelly Roll inks on 250 gsm (120 lb) stock — stroke by stroke, never printed. A physical tip presses into the paper and lays down real ink. The result is a tactile, hand-plotted finish — never printed.
