Shipping policy.

CodeInk is a made-to-order studio based in Québec City, Canada. Every piece is drawn by hand — by our robots — specifically for you. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.
1. Production Time
Because every order is created from scratch, please allow time for production before shipping begins.
Standard Orders: 2–4 business days for drawing, drying, and quality inspection.
Custom Commissions: An additional 1–2 business days may be required for file preparation and your approval before production begins.
High-Volume Periods: During peak seasons (Black Friday, Christmas, Valentine's Day), production may extend to 5–7 business days. We recommend ordering early.
Production time is separate from shipping transit time.
2. Shipping Estimates (from Québec City)
All orders are carefully packaged in rigid protective tubes to ensure your artwork arrives in perfect condition. Estimated transit times once your order has shipped:

These are estimates provided by carriers and are not guaranteed delivery dates. Delays due to carrier operations, weather, or customs are outside CodeInk's control.
3. Tracking
Every order includes a tracking number sent to your email address once your shipping label is created. Please allow up to 24 hours for the carrier to log the first scan.
If you have not received a tracking email within 5 business days of your order confirmation, please contact us at info@codeink.art.
4. Damaged Orders
We take great care in packaging every piece. However, if your order arrives damaged:
Do not discard the packaging or the artwork.
Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@codeink.art with your order number and clear photographs of the damage (packaging and artwork).
We will arrange a replacement at no additional cost to you, or offer a full refund if a replacement is not possible.
Damage claims submitted after 48 hours may not be eligible for a remedy.
5. Lost or Delayed Packages
Lost in transit (not yet marked as delivered): If your tracking has not updated in more than 5 business days or your package appears stuck, contact us at info@codeink.art. We will open a claim with the carrier on your behalf. If the carrier confirms the package is lost, we will send a replacement at no cost to you.
Packages marked "Delivered" but not received: If your package is marked as delivered but you have not received it, please:
Check with neighbours, your building's front desk, or other potential drop-off locations.
Wait 24 hours, as carriers sometimes mark packages as delivered prematurely.
Contact us at info@codeink.art if the issue persists.
We will work with the carrier to investigate. If the carrier confirms a delivery error on their part, we will provide a replacement or refund. Please note that CodeInk cannot be held responsible for packages that are confirmed delivered to the correct address and subsequently lost or stolen. We strongly recommend shipping to a secure delivery location.
Important for Canadian customers: If you believe your consumer rights have been affected by a shipping issue, you may be entitled to additional remedies under applicable consumer protection legislation. Do not hesitate to raise this with us directly.
6. Customs, Duties & Taxes (International Orders)
CodeInk ships from Canada. International orders may be subject to customs fees, import duties, or local taxes upon arrival in your country. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer and are not included in your order total or shipping fees.
USA Customers: Orders under $800 USD are generally duty-free under the USMCA/de minimis threshold, though this remains subject to US Customs discretion.
EU & UK Customers: VAT and import duties are likely to apply at the point of delivery.
All other countries: Please check your local regulations before ordering.
CodeInk is not responsible for delays caused by customs processing.
7. Incorrect Address
Please ensure your shipping address is correct before completing your order. If you notice an error immediately after placing your order, contact us at info@codeink.art as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee address changes once a label has been created. CodeInk is not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer.
8. Your Rights
If your order does not arrive within a reasonable time beyond the estimated delivery window, or if you receive a product that does not conform to your order, you may have rights under applicable consumer protection law. Please contact us first at info@codeink.art — we are committed to resolving any issue fairly and promptly.
