Montreal Marathon Route

$149.00

The Montreal Marathon traces one of the most dramatic urban courses in North America. From the start line near Parc Jean-Drapeau, the route crosses the Jacques-Cartier Bridge, cuts through the Plateau, climbs past Mont-Royal, and descends into the cobblestones of Vieux-Montreal before finishing in the heart of the city. Every turn is a neighbourhood.

Every kilometre is a postcard. This map is all 42.2 of them — drawn at once, on a single sheet of paper, by a machine that never stops moving.

Each piece is plotted with your name and finish time — add them in the order notes at checkout. No extra charge.

Each piece is physically plotted by our precision robot in our Québec studio using Sakura® Micron archival pens on 100% cotton paper — drawn line by line, never printed. The result is a tactile finish with real ink texture and subtle natural variation that no digital printer can replicate.

Don't see your race? We can plot any route — marathon, half-marathon, ultratrail, triathlon, cycling, or any other race you've completed. Visit our Commission page to get started.

Questions & Answers

Everything you need to know

  • It is physically drawn. A precision plotting robot holds a real pen and draws every single line on paper — exactly like a human would, but with mechanical consistency. No inkjet. No toner. No digital print.

  • Very accurate. The route is generated from GPS data sourced from official race records, then layered onto real street map data. What you see is the actual certified course — not an approximation.

  • No. We use Stabilo® Fineliners and Sakura® Gelly Roll archival grade inks — the same standard used in archival documents and museum-quality art. Properly stored, your piece will outlast you.

  • No frame is included. We ship unframed intentionally — so you can choose a frame that complements your space perfectly. The piece fits any standard Tabloid / A3 frame available at IKEA, Artifact Uprising, or local framers.

  • Every order includes a personal timelapse video of your specific piece being drawn by the robot. It's sent digitally after your piece ships. Perfect for sharing — or for keeping as a record of your piece's creation.

  • Yes. We accept commission work for custom blueprints — aircraft, ships, cars, architecture, or any technical subject. Visit our Commission page to start the conversation.
